The Arktikum is a unique museum and science center, focusing on life in Lapland and the arctic regions through the ages. The building is in the shape of a glass tube, that is really fantastic. Besides the multiple permanent or temporary exhibitions, there is a mutimedia theatre, a restaurant, a souvenir shop and a splendid garden of arctic plants. You can learn more about it at www.arktikum.fi. Really worth a visit!
